This is a mild strategy game in which you control weaponry inside turrets (or towers) instead of humanoids. In the beginning you are given a total of $2,500 for which to buy your weaponry but you can only afford two items: the heavy cannon ($500) or the dual machine ($2,000). It is a game guided by levels as well, to which the enemies become stronger, however your weaponry also upgrades and you can increase its health, damage or increase speed at which it fires. The cannon is all you need for the first level or two, though the main issue is it does not shoot in a straight line so good accuracy and a dash of luck are needed. My preferred weapon of choice became the dual machine for its rapid fire, accuracy and relatively good health. As the levels increase, it is a good idea to leave your most durable weapon out in the open first, and your newly purchased weapons further behind where they won’t get hit as easily. The points to where your weapons are at their weakest are at the northernmost point and the balcony, so be sure to set your most durable weapons in these two areas. The best strategy I found was to always go for the biggest, most powerful enemy first, as the smaller ones will not do damage anywhere near as extensive. For the enemies that have ships with balloons, I found that hitting the balloons was the most effective way of bringing down the enemy quickly and effectively, with a simple holding of the mouse button. Later on as the levels increase, I began to use the remote missile, which will have 100% accuracy and this weapon is good to get rid of enemies rather quickly. However, given the fact that there are some “upgrades” I still found that the most effective weapon in terms of durability, ease and price range was still the dual machine. It was not a good idea to only have a series of weapons that require a long time to reload, as enemies will come upon you quickly. As the cannon soon became obsolete with its less than accurate aim, I opted a strategy for a good balance between dual machines and remote missiles, the latter of which were the most vulnerable and were placed in the safer spots mentioned before. The ultimate strategy to gaining victory in these levels is placement of weaponry, increase health at every opportunity and never choosing weapons based off of durability and ease and not price.
