Given the name stande, (root word stand) and the closed in, limited area in which to fight, the purpose of this game seems to be survival. How long can you survive the onslaught of enemies? That is for the player to find out. Of course, survival is based upon the ability to bring down your enemies before they bring you down. I found that shooting was a more effective method to stay alive the longest, giving the enemies little to no opportunity to strike before they fell. The melee weapon only seemed to benefit me if an enemy decided to pop in over my character's head and shooting was not within proper range at that point. Another good method to staying alive, I found, is staying up on the rock, giving you the advantage of height and ability to shoot down enemies from all sides at once. However, I did notice that staying in one spot also has its disadvantages, given that one enemy swoops down on a rope and throws a grenade. At this point, I found it was rather useless to try and use the up arrow to shoot him down. The speed at which it is thrown and the extensive damage it caused led me to believe fleeing from this situation is best, and I used the right or left arrows to move out of the way. If you do happen to see an enemy coming down a rope and you are at a considerable distance, you can easily adjust your arrows, pressing up then left, or up and then right to gain the proper angle to shoot. These can be elusive enemies, so the shot may not always make it. Perhaps the main character in this game is some sort of rival to this military front he faces, or maybe even a traitor. The cause of war is yet to be known, though it is clear the main character is no stranger to military, given his gear and weaponry. All that we are given is one simple and undeniable fact: kill or be killed.
