You will notice 3 icons in the upper left corner. The $ sign for money earned, the face for staff members or employees, & the smiley or frowny for the state of your finances. 4. The goal is to keep that smiley, smiling. 5.At the bottom of the screen there are more icons. $ for finances,Breifcase for hiring, desk for creating teams, & the face again for employees. A phone for management, lightbulb for the lab, & a pc screen for development. 6. Your first step is to left click on the desk to create a team. As you progress you can hire new team members, but only if they are affordable on your budget. 7.Your next step is to click on the pc screen icon to assign your team to create a new project. 8. After you create & assign your team 2 more icons appear on the bottom middle of the screen. One is new project, this is your step, left click the mouse on that icon. 9. Your next step will be to left click your team in the pop up box to assign them to the project & start creating a game. 10.The truck icon is for distribution of your game. Left click to see where its distributed. 11.The news paper icon is for advertising & the graph is for results. 12 The middle icons change after a project is created. They become stats & reviews. You can see how places like Gamasutra, Gamenews reviewed your game. 13. Don't get discouraged if you get a bad review. You can just start over with a new game, same process as before except you already have your team. 14. Middle bottom screen icons also pop up & show current investigations & a tech tree. This occurs when you start a 2nd project. Current investigations allow you to watch your progress with a bar graph.Tech tree shows what software is used & the progress. 15. All in all its a lot like working in a office with a team but the work is done much quicker & you dont have to deal with employee sick days.
