In this game, some insight is given unto the story, to which a meteor falls into the jungle and only two survivors make it after investigating. Once the game begins, it is clear none of the enemies are mutants, but simply other human beings with weapons. This shooter game works on levels allowing you two chances to continue from where you left off should your character die. You get the rare option of choosing between a male or female lead, and I chose the latter. The purpose seems to be simple enough: maneuver yourself through the jungle, killing off enemies with rifles and dodging land mines and large, rolling rocks. You are given two choices to dodge bullets, one in which you press the up arrow to disappear into the background and the other which allows you to crouch by pressing the down arrow. You can also press the up arrow and right arrow simultaneously to move while in stealth mode, though it does remove itself if your character falls onto the next level. The first option allows enemies to slip by without noticing you, and you can let go of the up arrow and shoot at your earliest convenience. Pressing the shift button and holding it will leave a continuous fire, but leaves your character vulnerable to attacks, as you have to press the button once more to cease fire. Some enemies are seen at a NE angle, to which they throw grenades if you get close, so it was easy to take them down by pressing shift, then the up arrow to adjust the shooting upward. When enemies are numerous running about, there are also toxic waste cans that you can shoot (from afar of course) to blow up anything in the immediate area. Other enemies are easily caught, as you can catch them on stealth and any of the above methods will get rid of them easily enough. Lastly, be sure to pick up anything your fellow enemies leave behind once dead, as the materials gained can be used to your character’s advantage (ie, health, etc).
